And welcome to the first edition of this art newsletter of 2026!

I hope the first few days of the year have been good for you. It was for me! I caught a wave of energy and motivation, and I'm happily riding it :)

What's planned for today? Well, not only did I finally finish a new illustration, but I also reopened my shop with a few surprises! There's a small caveat I didn't anticipate; but we'll go over that as well!

Finally, my new illustration is finished :) The first one of 2026!

If you’ve been in this newsletter for a few weeks, you might remember that I started working on it a while ago, back at the very start of November.

This took some time, especially because of the holidays, but I’m now finally able to call it done! This was my main goal for the beginning of the year.

I really loved crafting the atmosphere that is so different from my previous illustrations. And I was obviously inspired by the weather we’ve been having in Poland recently! Almost every morning I wake up to a fresh coat of snow outside my window!

I hope you’ll like this finalized version! I’ve been really touched by some of your comments on the earlier version already, so thank you so much :)

I’m not sure yet what my next big illustration will be; I have a few more surprises planned for you in the coming weeks, but you’ll be the first one to know once I have a new one in progress!

My art shop reopens! And with a few twists.

So to catch you up to speed: at the end of December I temporarily closed my print shop since I would be away for the holidays. I was very excited to bring it back up now… until something unexpected happened on the logistics side.

You see, I was sending a personal package last week, nothing unusual, but it turns out that the Polish postal system made a big change at the beginning of the year. In short, I had to pay three times more than usual for shipping!

I'm used to send all my light packages as letters, but they simply removed the option. At first, the price increase for sending packages did not seem sustainable for my shop.

I was very scared, but we looked into it and different post offices had different information. There is probably a way for things to go back to normal!

But given this uncertainty, I had to make a few last-minute changes to the store:

Namely, all my illustrations are hidden from the store until I’m confident that I can sustain the shipping.

I hope you understand. Everything should be back up soon :)

But I hear you ask, what’s on the shop if there are no more illustrations? Well, that’s one of the surprises I have for you this week!

Surprise: Our keychains are available on my website! ✨🌸

Even if I can’t send packages, I have many items that can fit in an envelope!

If you remember a few months back, my partner and I ordered a few acrylic keychains with our own design. We thought we could have them for conventions and markets, but we ended up not having any more events for the rest of the year. So they were never put on sale!

We gave a few to friends and family, and now I want to allow you to get them as well if you’d like to decorate your bag or keychain :)

My partner, Astheri Art, is also taking part with their own design!

Sh is a very big art inspiration for me. I have shared their art many times in this newsletter already! She has yet to open her own shop, but I’m confident some of you would love her art as much as I do. Go show them some love!​

The stock is very limited because that’s the number of keychains that we have. It’s really not intentional on my part, so no stress about it. I will restock if you really like some in particular :)

For this shop update, I had a particularly hard time taking good product pictures. I always had bad lighting, lamps that do weird things with my camera’s shutter speed, and so on! This was very new to me, but now I know what I need, so I’ll do my best to improve my equipment for next time!

Pre-Order my new illustration now!

I decided to try something new again for the beginning of the year!

My new illustration has just been completed, so I don’t have any stock on hand. So instead of putting an arbitrary number on the quantity, I’m letting you decide and help me order the right amount from my local print shop!

Pre-orders are open until the 18th of January! This leaves you about two weeks. All orders will then be sent by the 26th at the latest, and the illustration will then be available for regular order along with the others!

Having pre-orders guarantees that you will receive the print as soon as possible, lets me order properly, and gives me time to sort the shipping situation out!
